Trusting God When You Can't See the Harvest
There are seasons in life when it feels as though nothing is changing.
You've prayed.
You've worked faithfully.
You've planted seeds of obedience.
Yet nothing seems to be growing.
If you've ever felt discouraged during a season of waiting, you're not alone.
Throughout Scripture, God repeatedly reminds us that His timing is perfect—even when we cannot yet see the harvest.
Faith Grows Underground
Farmers understand something many of us forget.
The greatest growth happens where no one can see it.
Long before the first sprout appears, roots are quietly developing beneath the surface.
God often works the same way in our lives.
He develops our character before revealing His blessings.
He strengthens our faith before opening new doors.
He prepares us before promoting us.
"And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not." — Galatians 6:9 (KJV)
Three Ways to Trust During the Waiting
1. Continue Praying
Don't stop talking to God simply because answers haven't appeared yet.
2. Continue Serving
Faithfulness today prepares you for tomorrow's opportunities.
3. Continue Believing
What God promised, He is faithful to complete.
Prayer
Lord, help me trust Your timing even when I cannot see immediate results. Strengthen my faith, calm my fears, and remind me that You are always working behind the scenes. Help me remain faithful until the harvest comes. In Jesus' name, Amen.
